Our HistoryThe “Mudcrabs” are in their 34th year of winter swimming with our oldest member, Bruce Kellow, being 87 and our youngest (honorary), Harper Cusack, 6mths old. We were originally known as the Cold Tooths but changed our name in the mid eighties.
Obviously members come and go over the years but we boast a high percentage of swimmers who have been with the club for decades, such is the nature of the club. We have a membership of around 50 and meet from the first Sunday in May ‘till the last Sunday in September. We’re a small club which offers the kind of camaraderie which benefits all of our members as well as having a strong focus on family. |
